May 04, 2010 -  Could your place of residence be contributing to your healthy lifestyle (or lack thereof)?  Check Gallup's top  fittest/healthiest cities in the United States for 2010.  The fittest or healthiest cities were determined based on telephone surveys that provided information regarding BMI (body mass index) based on height and weigh. They also factored in lifestyle habits including eating, exercising and access to health insurance:

  1. Fort Collins, Loveland, Colorado (16% obesity rate):
  2. Boulder, Colorado (16.6% obesity rate):
  3. Barnstable Town, Massacusettes (16.9% obesity rate):
  4. Colorado Springs, Colorado (17.2% obesity rate):
  5. San Luis Obispo/Paso Robles, California (17.6% obesity rate)
  6. Reno/Sparks, Nevada (17.7% obesity rate)
  7. Santa Cruz/Watsonville, California (17.9% obesity rate)
