Judge Perry sentenced Casey Anthony today, July 7, 2011. Casey Anthony was sentenced to the maximum of 1 year of jail time and a $1000 fine for each of 4 consecutive accounts of providing false information to law enforcement officers. However, due to jail time already served and good behavior, she may be released within the next 2-3 months. Judge Perry denied the defense's motion to combine all 4 accounts into 1 account. Judge Perry may also decide to fine Casey Anthony for the money and time spent by law enforcement officers who were searching for a child, based on Casey Anthony's lies. Casey Anthony and her team have not yet decided if they will appeal the sentence, they have 30 days to do so.
